Mobile Wallet allows you to load your Lōkahi FCU Debit Card onto your mobile device and easily tap and pay at participating merchants. Mobile Wallet offers increased security and is safer than carrying cards or cash. And because the information stored in your Mobile Wallet is encrypted, your card information is not accessible by others.

Getting started using Mobile Wallet is easy!

Apple® Users

  1. Launch the Apple Pay® wallet app on your device
  2. Tap the “+” symbol to add your FCU Debit Card
  3. Scan your DebitCard with the rear-facing camera or enter the card information manually
  4. Verify the information entered is correct
  5. Mobile Wallet setup is complete!

For security purposes, you may be required to authenticate your identity by following a verification process by phone in order to complete the setup process. Be sure to have your current contact number on file with the credit union. If identity authentication is required you must call using the phone that is on file with the credit union.

How to Check Out Using Apple Pay

You may use Apple Pay at participating in-store merchants who utilize contactless terminals and accept digital payments via Apple Pay.

  • Wake up your phone
  • Get ready to pay and select your card
  • Place your device above the terminal
  • Your device will confirm if payment is successful. If you are prompted and select Debit, you will need to enter your card’s PIN number. A signature may be required for certain merchants or purchase amounts.

Android™ Users

  1. Download the free Masterpass by Mastercard® app on Google Play™
  2. Follow the steps to sign up to create an account or sign in if you already have an account.
  3. Tap the “+” symbol to add your Lōkahi FCU Debit Card
  4. Scan your DebitCard with the rear-facing camera or enter the card information manually
  5. Verify the information entered is correct
  6. Mobile Wallet setup is complete!

How to Check Out Using Masterpass

You may use Masterpass at participating in-store merchants who utilize contactless terminals and accept digital payments via Masterpass.

  • Unlock your device and hold it above the terminal
  • Enter the 4-digit PIN
  • Wait for the check mark to indicate the transaction was successful.

Masterpass also let’s you save time while making online and in-app purchases too! Skip the hassle of completing online check out forms, entering shipping addresses and payment information. Load all your payment information to your Masterpass account and you’re done. It’s that easy ─ just click the Masterpass button at check out, sign in to your account and your transaction is complete.

Mobile Wallet FAQ

What is Mobile Wallet?
Mobile Wallet is a service allowing you to load your Lōkahi FCU Debit Card on to your mobile device. You can then use your mobile device at merchants that accept digital payments through Apple Pay and Masterpass.
Is there a fee to use Mobile Wallet?
Using Mobile Wallet is free! However, third party charges such as wireless carrier message and data rates may apply.
Which Lōkahi FCU cards will I be able to use with Mobile Wallet?
Lōkahi FCU Debit Card.
Why am I prompted to call to verify my card?
As an extra layer of security you may be prompted to call Lōkahi FCU using the primary phone number listed in the credit union records prior to authorizing use of Mobile Wallet. For debit card verification, you may be asked to provide the social security number, which will be the primary member’s number. This is to help protect the card from being fraudulently added to someone else’s device in the event the card is lost/stolen and/or the personal card information is compromised.
Is Mobile Wallet safe?
Yes! Your personal information such as account number, CVV, name, etc. is never stored on the device, nor seen by merchants. Instead, a unique digital account number (token) and is generated and sent back to the device and stored securely.
Can I opt out of Mobile Wallet at any time?
Yes, you may remove cards at any time.
What happens when my card expires? When I receive my new card, will I have to update Mobile Wallet with the new expiration date?
When an enrolled card expires, you will need to remove the old card and add the new card information.
What if the device I use with Mobile Wallet is lost or stolen?

Please contact our Call Center to suspend the card for use with Mobile Wallet. You may continue to use the physical card, or request to cancel the card and receive a new card.

If you are able to recover the mobile device, contact our Call Center to reinstate the card to be used for Mobile Wallet. Otherwise, we recommend canceling the old card and request a new card which can then be added to the new mobile device.

What if my card is lost or stolen?
To report your Lōkahi FCU Debit Card lost or stolen call: 1.808.423.1391 (Oahu only) or Toll-free 1.800.432.4328 (Neighbor Islands & Continental U.S.). Then remove the lost/stolen card from your Mobile Wallet. When your new card arrives, add the new card to Mobile Wallet before making any purchases.
How do I get a refund for something I purchase with Mobile Wallet?

Just like any other purchase, you will be able to return a purchase made with Mobile Wallet. During the return process, the cashier may ask for the last four digits of your Device Account Number. This is usually the same as the last four digits of the Debit Card account number, but can be checked by opening the Mobile Wallet app and bringing up the card. The last four digits of the Device Account Number will be displayed on the card in Mobile Wallet.
